ABOUT ME
I'm an artist based in London. I make mostly photographic and curatorial projects. I also work in community development and spent seven years managing environmental regeneration initiatives across London. I currently work mainly with food, running a food insecurity social enterprise in London. This site shows art projects from 2005. ART Art projects featured here explore ideas of utopia, particularly in relation to community action, architecture and public space. I have completed commissions for The Royal Parks and The Photographers Gallery London; and took part in (Re:)Thinking the Street: Urban Encounters at Tate Britain. My work has shown in the UK and abroad, including the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Threadwaxing Space in New York, ICA Boston, Lakeside Kunstraum in Austria and ICA London. I co-produced David Hammons' artists book work The Holy Bible: Old Testament with Richard Hylton. I have a PhD in Fine Art (Theory & Practice) from Goldsmiths University of London. NEWS An archive of material documenting my art practice is now available at the Women's Art Library, Goldsmiths University of London. Photo: Vajrasana Buddhist Retreat Centre, Suffolk, UK (2016). |
